Dr. Shaun Matthews is a medical doctor who has also trained in Ayurveda, Yoga and meditation. Early in his medical career, Shaun worked in India. While he was there, he was exposed to Tibetan medicine and Ayurveda. He returned to India to study Ayurveda at the Gujarat Ayurved University. Shaun also studied Yoga at the Bihar School of Yoga under the guidance of Swami Niranjan.

Shaun is the Founder and Coordinator of the Ayurvedic Medicine Department at Nature Care College in Sydney and has become one of Australia’s foremost Ayurveda educators. He coordinates and co-teaches the two year Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultants course.
